The Rich History of Children's Corner Learning Center Since 1952

In 1952, Sister Margaret O’Brien of Bronxville, NY, founded the original Children’s Corner Nursery School. A small church at 10 Alkamont Avenue was converted into a 3-room schoolhouse to accept children between 18 months and 5 years old. Since then, Children’s Corner has grown into 9 convenient locations, becoming a cornerstone of early childhood education in our community.

Our Transition to a Learning Center

In another significant milestone, we pivoted towards a more educational experience for earlier learners in 2004. Children’s Corner Nursery School became Children’s Corner Learning Center, reflecting our commitment to providing a holistic educational environment that nurtures young minds and prepares them for a bright future.
